Black Earth is an American Rock n Roll band with origins from the desert rock scene of California in the early 90s and the rock scene in Austin Texas the late 90s. Their music is a unique blend of heavy rock n roll with soulful melodies. Formed in San Diego in 1997 as Ving Ra and the Ultrasonic, it evolved as they moved to Austin TX in 2000 into what it is today as Black Earth.
